Properly Selecting a Filter

There is usually a trade off when selecting the proper air filter because there allot of variables to consider. However we are only going to think about two.

1. Whats the best filtration for you or your family members  that may suffer from breathing or respiratory conditions?

If an Electronic Air Cleaner is not an option for you then use a pleated filter for you system. This will help better then the next option to remove air born particles. However despite what the packing says they are not 90 day filters, in fact you should replace them every 20 days. I recommend a 5″ Pleated filter.

 

 

 

2. What is the best filter for your systems performance?

This is simple…. You need to find a cheap 1″ fiberglass filter. This will do the job and let the air flow more freely through your system.

 

 

 

 

 

If you have family with breathing or respiratory conditions I strongly recommend a Electronic Air Cleaner opposed to a filter.
